Profile
The Administrators, Inc. (TAI) provides benefit administration
and billing services for nonprofit organizations such as trade groups,
chambers of commerce, associations and unions.
TAI also provides
association management, marketing, non-insurance benefits, membership
development, seminar and meeting management, communications and
non-dues income programs.
TAI was chartered in November 1991 and commenced operations on
January 2, 1992 as Business and Association Administrators, Inc.
In 1996, the company formally changed its name to The Administrators,
Inc.
TAI serves as the association manager for the Midlantic
Business Alliance (MBA) – the Philadelphia region’s
largest association dedicated to small businesses. In addition,
TAI provides management services to 13 other clients and 16,000
companies and 75,000 individuals.

Stephen Markowitz
Chief Executive Officer
Stephen Markowitz is president and chief executive officer of
The Administrators, Inc. He is also past senior vice president
and general manager of the Midlantic Business Alliance. He served previously as president and CEO for St. Marks
Consultancy, a human resources management company, and was senior
vice president for human resources with Alexanders, Inc. in New
York City.
Anne Gualtieri
Vice President and General Manager
Anne Gualtieri’s entire career has been spent with the
organization in assignments including operations, finance, billing,
collections, and executive management. Anne has been with The
Adminstrators, Inc. (TAI) since its inception.
Mary June McCann
Director of Sales
Mary June McCann began her career as a Communications Specialist
in public relations for associations. Prior to assuming management
responsibilities at The Administrators, Inc. (TAI), Mary was the
highest producing account executive in the company's history.
She and her entire staff are licensed in health, life, and disability.
They sell and service more than 12,000 subscribers in company
benefits programs for our affinity group clients.

TAI assumes many roles with our clients from project management
to benefit consultant to event manager. Our business clients vary
in size from sole proprietors to large corporations with 1,000 employees

Billing Department
Our Billing Department creates and mails bills to collect payment
for the insurance services that TAI provides to member companies.
Questions about billing statements or premiums can be answered by
our Billing Department.
