What is the cost benefit to
us for using your management company instead of managing our own
group?
While the client has to determine the cost benefit, TAI will
provide detailed analyses of the method in which we will manage
your account, and, in many cases, a guarantee of your reserve
from the year prior to our assumption of management responsibilities.
We believe that TAI is the only management company in the country
to make that offer.
How will our financial assets
be managed?
Any revenues managed by TAI are placed in a separate fiduciary
account. Your revenues are not merged with those of other clients.
In the area of health care billing, each of your members is individually
protected to the full FDIC threshold. Your funds are not invested
in equity or debt instruments. With your approval, funds are swept
into a money market account maintained in the name of your organization
and managed by TAI.
How do you set your fees -
retainer? time/hourly base? or by project?
For individual projects such as health care administration,
public relations, etc., our fee is based on an hourly rate.
If you are seeking complete association management services,
we set our fees after an evaluation of your financial statements.
The fee is based on our projection of your operating costs for
the fiscal year to include all projects you are anticipating.
A component of the fee is our margin. The annualized figures is
then billed on a twelve month basis.
Is there a conference room
or other space at TAI for board or committee meetings?
TAI has two conference rooms available for your organization
to use for board or committee meetings. For larger meetings, we
can also arrange for facilities in a setting more suitable.
What are the strengths of
your association management company?
TAI has more than 35 years of association management experience
and half of our staff have worked in an association environment.
Will my association have a
dedicated executive or be assigned to a team that performs a range
of functions for multiple clients?
Every TAI client is assigned a TAI Account Executive who acts
as the liaison between TAI and the group's leaders. The sales,
promotion and service efforts of each Account Executive are then supported by the TAI department that specializes in the area.
The Account Executive will receive staff support on sales campaigns
from the TAI Group Benefit Department. To develop an aggressive
membership development program, the Account Executive will turn
to our Association Management Group. For assistance with the development
of printed materials, the Account Executive will turn to the TAI
Communications Department.
